You should be able to toss in a 357sig barrel into your usp compact or p2000 easily enough. If you can't find a factory barrel, RCM makes some good ones. I know they were the main one making 357 barrels for the VP40.

.357sig in my opinion is one of the best personal defense rounds ever. I only own one. It's a Sig P229 with a crimson trace grip. It never leaves my nightstand. It's my goto and while own many great pistols it is my fav.

I have the Glock 32 in .357sig. WAY too snappy for that little frame. I bought a .40 barrel for it and it's better.

I might like that caliber in a larger frame. I do have large hands and that also might make a difference.

I love that we are all different. I have owned one .40 and found it to be too snappy. I still own a .40 barrel for my 229 but never use it. Maybe the platform makes the difference. The 229
In .357 is awesome.

To be honest I really don't like the G32. Too small for my hands. The odd part is the G30 in .45ACP fits me fine. Just a little fat for CCW.

Oh well. I so rarely go strapped anywhere cause I live in an extremely safe environment. I know there are those who say it's never safe but the seriously low risk versus discomfort carrying makes it so I just don't. Maybe crime will migrate nearer me and I'll have to some day,

I want to send me XD9 Sub-Compact (Original XD9 not XD-M) to PRP to be milled for a 407k.

I cannot find any definitive info on what suppressor height sights will fit and be usable with the dot installed.

Spoke to XS and they were not confident that their sights will work. Dawson said measure after you get the slide back.

I would like to know what sights I need before sending the slide out. PRP has not replied yet.

I want black rear & tritium w/orange outline front, but am open to other options. Has anyone here already gone through this? What sights worked for you?

Here's a dumb question. Can non-LEO folks buy/possess rubber bullets (baton rounds) in the free states?

Rubber duck season is coming up.....

For the cost of milling and refinishing you can probably buy a new gun that is optic ready. Unless you have a real connection to the XD9, I'd just buy something new.

I do have a connection to the XD9 and shoot it well. Still cheaper to mill mine vs buy another gun.

The only suppressor height sights that would work, that I have found so far, are Trijicon. I was hoping to find a front sight with orange outline

Finished my first 10/22 build this weekend. I was aiming for a lightweight, portable plinker to be used for steel/target in the 25-50 yard range and always with a suppressor. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Hopefully it shoots as good as it looks!

I went to the Private Range I belong to today. I never used the shotgun range it was always the pistol or rifle. I had a blast shooting clay pigeons with the semiautomatic AR12 . This was the first time it was fired since it was bought 2 years ago. After I left the range I went to Walmart and bought another 2 boxes of shells. I’ll probably take the wife tomorrow or Friday.

Yep, I am. I've posted it in a few difference places. Guess it made an impression!
