Too simplistic IMHO to just disqualify Renault as the crash impacted everyone in the race. Hence the problem, it's a judgement call. Depends on what side of the fence one is on.

Who knows if Ferrari would have botched the stop had the crash not occurred

Details of what Massa hopes to achieve by suing FIA/FOM with Bernie, and Bernie himself agrees that he is doing the right thing.
Bernie is no stranger to court appearances and the hearings will be in a English court where FM is seeking many millions in damages for lost earnings because of Crashgate which the then gov.body appeared to cover up that it was deliberate.

His highness exert some pressure on jude hmm, for king and country but any third party influence would be easily spotted and challenged by Massas team and it's in the highest court in the land.The Roy's have enough problems and scandals to involve themselves extra with the judiciary with this.

I'm familiar with this and there is a sort of closed system for choosing judges over there in some states, all kept quiet from the public eye, only certain ones are chosen who are siding with 'politically correct' thinking.
