2013 M5 - 13k miles - reliability?
I’ve had a bunch of BMW’s over the years, but have always bought or leased new cars. My X3M was unfortunately stolen recently.
Now looking at a low mileage F10 as a daily. Car looks to be super clean, but I’d be buying it from out of state, so unlikely I’ll be able to see it in person. Is the S63B motor deemed to be reliable? What issues in particular should I look out for? Any and all input would be appreciated!

Get it cheap, prices are in the tank. My car is same year with 20k miles, and for tradein looking at low 30s.

No problems with mine apart from A/C leaking condenser replaced under warranty, totally reliable up to now at 43k miles, just the odd worn ageing tyre and brake pads which need service soon like on any car and a yearly check at your favourite BMW service place, I have mine in Redhill.

Thanks. Presume the target needs to be under 20k’ish miles, and clearly maintained by an enthusiast? Feels like most of them come with a mid 40s asking price.

PCV oil leak, turbo coolant lines are common, injectors, ignition coils, they can be solid otherwise.

I have a '13 that I picked up with 35K miles. Immediately installed high flow cats and tuned it. I've put over 20K miles on it the last 2 years. No issues other than routine maintenance (crosses fingers)

2016 M5 - 17k miles. If I can buy it for $45k, is my basis good?
Presume with 35k miles, I should be able to sell low 30s, in 24 months? Reasonable? Clean CarFax etc.

I lost the 13k car unfortunately. I now have two 2013 options I’m considering, one with 22k miles and the other with 18k.
Is there anything to watch for with the first year f10? I am paranoid!

I’m having a PPI done on a 2013. Will get results tomorrow. Am hoping to be able to buy at $37.5k. Front bumper needs to be repainted.
There is an aftermarket exhaust on the car (but selling dealer has no idea what it is…). Looks like stock muffler and tips come with the car as well.
