F10 m5 drag racing
Hey guys! Looking to get some advice on drag racing these cars. I have a 13 m5 with stage 2 e30 tune and 305 19inch Mickey Thompson ETS. Been having trouble getting a good launch. Trying to get the best quarter time and looking for any advice on best launch procedure/ tips. Thanks!

Why 19"? I'd try some 315s. on 20" rims. Do you use MDM mode?

Yea launching these cars is not easy. Also be careful of the diff! I get wheel hop often. My best is 11.3@126 on Cup2R's with a stage 1 93 tune, but my 60ft is still terrible (1.8-1.9). This is using launch control with warm tires launching around ~2800rpm on a street surface.

Yeah I do and I’m thinking that would be good to pull back some boost so I can really hook up nice because this thing has so much down low that is wasted. Just gotta get it just right!

If all else fails you can try launching off essentially idle without launching control. Feather the throttle for half a second before laying down the full hammer. It's worth practicing before going to the track. I know that once the rears start to spin, it only gets worse unless you shift early and bog the engine or let off. In my case best times were with launch control but it wasn't easy to get everything right.

If you're going to beat it hard on the drag strip you might want to do this-
