Stock M5 Comp Pack Dyno Results
Well after a year and a half of ownership and sporadically searching for an answer. This Thursday I will be taking my stock 2014 M5 Competition package to the Dyno. I couldn’t find many if any threads with some actual numbers so I will keep y’all posted on what the results were. In the meantime any guesses as to what the numbers might be??
1. 2014 M5 / 53k miles 2. Competition Package 3. M exhaust 4. Changed spark plugs 3k miles ago😂 5. Oil changed 3k miles ago 😂 6. KW springs 7. Fake carbon diffuser and wing 😂 (real ones on the way ) I’m biased but I’m thinking 560 hp/ 560 ftlbs |

Sorry for the delay. Legitimately JUST got my PDF files from the Dyno. The car put down 483 hp to the wheel . With a 15% drivetrain loss is about 563 hp. And 499.9 ft/lbs consistently over 3 runs with about 2 mins in between each run.
I’ve also attached the AFR graph as well. I think with a tune and getting a fuel dump earlier will definitely help with power throughout the entire powerband. This is my first car I’ve ever put on the Dyno and I’m NOT a gear head in terms of knowing the intricacies into the science of making more consistent power and more of it. So any input would be awesome ! |
