I am 100% in for next Saturday morning. My Dad is visiting me for the weekend so I hope that it will be a good turnout. Additionally, I'll be showcasing my new RPi GT exhaust system with the muffler delete this Saturday. Get ready to be blown away! Literally! Haha!

Dudes,

A buddy of mine from SD went to C&C Irvine last Saturday and told me this:

"We were there last weekend at 6am on the dot, and they were already only letting classics or exotics into the main parking area. The rest go to spectator or parking garage."

This is completely LAME! Can anyone else confirm this? My friend who told me this drives a 2013 Audi S4. If a brand new 2013 Audi S4 isn't exotic enough, then what is?! If they start seperating the cars like this, I may stop going.

Your friend was right. Grayblack was there at 6:05, he was directed to the side lot. I arrived at 6:10, same story. They ended up putting all but one M5 in this lot, some M3s, a few Audis, Porsches, and MBZs. There were many M3s that turned around and parked in the structure.

The part that p'd me off was the fact that they said "classic and exotic" only, but then let in a slew of cars that didn't fit either of those descriptions. That is BS. Fail.

Like Mark said, it is get there before 6AM, or, we will likely be in the side lot.

Damn, this is so lame. I'm probably going to yell at them anyways. It should be first come first serve!

I think us F10 M5 owners should decide now, if want to arrive before 6am or after in order so that we can all park together. I'm good either way.

Rumor has it that CARS&COFFEE Irvine may come to end sometime this year
The people who work the event are volunteers and the event is getting so big that they can't handle it ...
I think that this is their attempt to 'filter out' the attendance

Again this is just what I've heard ... true or not only time will tell

Yeah, we were treated like the red headed step child last week. I suggest we get there around 5:45 am. I know it's early, but the odds will be better.

Shoot. Yeah I just found out that I won't be able to get there before 6am. I'll arrive between 6:30am and 7am. I guess I'll be parking off in no-mans land. Or I'll just park on the street! Lol! Either way, you all should be able to hear me coming!

Irvine C&C appears to be going the way of Crystal Cove. Ford has been very, very good to the automotive crowd for many years but the winds are beginning to blow another direction.

God forbid that all of us thugs get up at 5:15AM on a Saturday to talk cars. I am sure that there will be an alternative. I can feel it in the force

But, think of the up side to the parking situation.........your car will sound OUTRAGEOUS in a parking garage!!! They'll be coming in from the prime parking just to see what is making all that beautiful noise!!!
