You got to taste a new beer over there then, Newcastle is a great place from what I've seen and read and some lovely lasses there too as you say.
Never been there myself but know the geordies are friendly to everyone and it's where our legendary football World Cup hero Paul Gascoigne was born and still resides I think and he likes a pint or two of Newcastle Brown ale.
Black and Tan is the only way to stomach Guinness! The Guinness we get is a watered down version of UK Guinness.

That's a new one on me, I like a Greene King IPA and I'll try pouring half a stout on top of it sometime, if it's good enough for the Irish then I'll give it a try.

Up in the Newcastle area it was Bass Ale and Guinness. Many years ago.

Sure that's going back, the young ones now are more into the lager beers and the stalwarts will stick with their darker brews like Newcastle Brown Ale which is known as Newky Brown in the States.

Anyway, waiting on my plastic metal putty to arrive to fill in that small gouge you may have spotted on one of the spokes which I have now filed down, then the right paint blending and should look as good as new.

Filled the gouge with filler (rhymes) and smoothed it out with a small spatula waiting to harden properly then to file down smooth ready for a splash and dash of paint, will aim to show pic of finished job.

Don’t meant to thread Jack, but for anyone following this thread and interested in doing the same, I have two OEM Style 343 20x9 front wheels for sale.

Oki doki the new paint on wheel was in the sun drying after 4 quick sprays of color every 15 minutes, so after 24 hours a final clear coat on the worked on area will finally put this wheel on the showroom floor. There is a Honda silver color that matches it perfect.

Swapped a front wheel with the restored spare wheel to test it out and reset the TPMS to get a reading on the dash. While the original wheel is off I'll repair some minor kerb rash on that one and after cleaning a coat of nice wheel polish.

Just a reminder that it's 140nm tightening torque on these M5 lug nuts and to re-check the torque after 100 mi.
