Which coil packs were used each year?

When i changed my spark plugs the other day i found that my 2016 has the Delphi coils. I wanted to install the eldor, but they disnt fit so i put the Delphi back in.

I thought 2016 was supposed to have the Eldor coils?

2013-bosch?
2014/15 Delphi?
2016 Eldor?

Which coils dont have the little tab?

My 2016 uses Delphi. They don't have the tab you refer to. I don't think Eldor were ever factory fitted on the F10 as far as I'm aware.

Thanks, do both of our 2016s came with the Delphi coils. I had seen a youtube video of a guy installing the Eldor and had read that they were the best, but they have the little tab and wont fit. Guess ill just replace with new Delphi and call it a day.

If your 2012 is an s63 than id imagine you could use any of the coils that fit the m5. Eldor. Delphi or bosch. Your coil plugs have a cut out to fit the little plastic tabs that the 2016 wont fit.
