I was basing it on if you have a family of 4 lol. But yeah expect to spend around $400 a person not including admission into the park. Of course you could avoid spending anything besides admission and food but you'll miss out on some stuff. For the Light Saber attraction you could go as someone's guest but that person would have to buy the $200 light saber. Not sure if you could split the cost as only 1 person can take the light saber home you can't really share it. Also, part of the fun is building your own.

Don't even bother. It lights up red, it only changes for the sith holocron. Also since everyone else is trying to get it, a cast member now just hands the red crystals to you, instead of every person busting out their phone flashlight at each of the crystals.

The level of detail is amazing. I love the fact, they made Batuu hidden. From Critter Country, you can't even see the entrances of anything. Each cast member has their own little backstory to their character and it made it all the more fun. It definitely felt like we were transported to this city and when we returned to Critter country, it felt like we were in a whole different park.

Smugglers Run is an interactive videogame. The queue was amazing in details/easter eggs and going into the ride truly felt like we were walking in the Millenium Falcon.

Definitely a luxury low income or even middle class families will struggle to afford. Not to mention food not cheap lol. How much would you be willing to spend at Disneyland?

Video of Millennium Falcon Ride

Build your own droid ($100 not including personality card for $12.99 each and available assessories. Bag sold separately.

We do Disney all out. Last year, Grand Villa at Animal Kingdom with multi-day vip guide. Doing DL Paris this year with guide. Disney is not cheap, might as well splurge. We are waiting for 2nd ride to open then will hit DL and use guide services to manage crowd. So yes, will be much more than $1800! Probably add a zero.

You gotta hand it to them though. The attention to detail and everything looks incredible. Star Wars is one of the highest grossing movie franchises of all time and there are hundreds of thousands of Star Wars worldwide.

I'm not a Star Wars freak but I certainly enjoyed the movies and wouldn't mind spending money on a vacation to Disney to check this out. I mean it's a vacation right? That to me includes spending frivolously, it just needs to be accounted for ahead of time.

For those of us living locally we usually don't budget that much for a theme park visit but times are changing.
