you also get around 200 miles driving before the DME pick up the Lamda reading, but you'll go through some fuel in that 200 miles mine run fine but fuel consumption was shocking

Thats absolutely correct with no additional services. I have zero reasons to lie or misrepresent their charges. $1100 plus tax is precisely what they charged to install the downpipes.

Sounds like a few Atlanta area guys on this thread. Take a look at Solo Motorsports. Very knowledgable guys there. They did my suspension installation. Talked for a long while with them about DPs and they will tune the cars as well. I was quoted $600 for DP installation. May be considered "expensive" compared to other parts of the country like California where it seems saturated with tuner shops but reasonable price for the SE I feel. Good luck

I installed my own downpipes in half a day for free... lol
No way I'd pay $600 or $1100 for this.. it wasn't even that bad. Rented an O2 socket from Autozone and only requires jack/jack stands, and a few hand tools. Markert and Solo are both good shops in Atlanta. |

Rattle comes from the wastegates, not the downpipes. So if you have wastegate rattle it's def noticeable with thin wall catless pipes. Only way to not hear it, is to keep your stock pipes.

Ugg that shop. Overpriced as hell, and they push you on repairs that are not needed. They wanted to swap a head gasket on my old E36 "just in case" when I got it. Drove the car another 80k miles with no issue at all. And thats just one example of why I will never give them my business again.
Go to bimmers service center. There is one in kennesaw and one in Roswell. Tim is the owner Don is the manager at the roswell local. They do impeccable work for a great price. I have been using them for over a decade and would not recommend anyone take their car anywhere else. |

Started the downpipe removal process and began with the bolts under the car. Surprisingly they loosened with little effort. Car was completely cold. Does anyone know the torque specs for these bolts?
On a side note I’m missing my underbelly pan?? Dealer is the only one to work on the car. Going to try to get them to replace it. |
