This is great! Glad to hear keys came in. I'm still very interested in getting the US key once we can figure out the programming situation. I'll continue to reach out locally but no luck on my end so far. Thanks for putting this together.

My local locksmith programmed this exact key without any issues. In the meanwhile I gained the knowledge and tools to program these keys. I'm willing to support your key guy if necessary. And if there are any issues, you can always go on a road trip to Germany. Combine some high speed racing on the Autobahn with some good ole German beer, then we set up your display key in my garage 😉

A couple of questions. Do you now have 5 U.S programmable keys ready to be mailed off? If so, when will they be mailed and is the below list current? Are we still on for sending the payment to you and in turn you will mail the keys to @A3ch??? A3ch will then keep 1 key for himself and mail the remaining keys to the 4 to the below?

I can ship all these keys to A3ch tomorrow, he is still willing to take care of the US/Canada distribution.
Programming the key and installing the communication module has to be done locally in the US, the keys can't be pre-programmed!

I was finally able to establish a partnership with a NYC based forum member: Hatem3!
He purchased the key programming kit and 3 display keys from me, the goods will be on the way shortly. The 2 remaining keys are sold to Steve Fox and PROBLM_5.
I will provide the technical support and assist him with BMW key programming, since I use the same kit in the European region. The programming does work with the display keys I offer in the group buy, now we have a solid and trustworthy contact in the US. He will program this exact display key to his F10 M5 and post videos about the process.

Hatem3: Please introduce yourself and present your business model

The core process is as follows:
I supply the display keys, you will pay me for the display keys and shipping. I will then ship a certain quantity, depending on payments, to Hatem3 for further handling. The more people participate in one shipping round, the cheaper the shipping will be!
The key programming for the F10 platform can be done as follows:

1. You visit Hatem3 and he will add the display key by using the OBD port, no need to remove the CAS4 unit.
2. You remove the CAS4 and ship it together with one original key to Hatem3, he will program the display key as a copy of your original key and then send all items back to you.

The final pricing is up to Hatem3, but he invested heavily in the equipment and needs your support. We are offering an amazing product here, for a reasonable price. Thank you for your interest and patience, now we are gaining traction with this project 😃

So I only have one key (which is why I was looking at this). If I overnight the CAS4 module and my original key to HateM3 what's the turn around time?

Is there any possible way this process could render my vehicle inoperable? Finally I have family in NY, could I ship the key and module in NY and gave them bring them to HateM3, have him do the reprogramming whole they wait and then they can leave with the new key, Module and old key?

The programming method is fail proof and doesn't require any soldering, the likelihood of the CAS4 being rendered inoperable is close to zero!
The whole process takes about 20 - 30 minutes max, so your relatives will be able to stay there and wait for Hatem3 to add your display key to your CAS4 and copy your original key. Then all parts will be returned to you and you end up having 2 fully functional keys, for less money than an original standard BMW key.

This group buy didn't work out as planned. I found a great display key for a reasonable price and purchased 10 keys on my dime. After encountering the main challenge to find a locksmith in the US to program the keys, I was stuck with my order. Then I decided to purchase a programming kit and teach a willing person in the US to overcome this obstacle. In the meanwhile, the display key delivery was massively delayed, I got called a scam and I received 5 US and 5 European keys on top. Then the original technician flaked and I was stuck with an expensive programming kit and all the keys. I was pretty upset at that point.

To be honest, after showing the pics of the key delivery here, a few members contacted me to purchase a key, without having a locksmith in place. So I had to react quickly and sell. Also, Hatem3 was willing to spend big money on the kit and he requested 3 keys, so I sold them.
In the end, the original list could not be maintained, since most members were not willing to purchase.

Now, Hatem3 will be your main contact and more display keys will be offered to everyone on this original list. He will proof the key programming works and then he will take orders. I already contacted my source, he is preparing more display keys for all of us.
I still have 4 European display keys (868 MHz) left, I can offer programming as well, full package deal. PM me if you are interested!

Is it just me or is this is getting very weird to anyone else? Not trying to sabotage a sale for anyone but we've been getting updates almost daily on these keys then someone who was never mentioned in over 7 pages of threads now has the US keys???? I contacted Hatem3 who says I can get in on the 2nd batch however I'm going to pass until I see some proven forum members with verifiable reputations say they were able to get a working key before I commit. As Mark Cuban would say, "for that reason, I'm out"

Blaxwil: I I understand your hesitation and gaining trust is a major undertaking. Hatem3 and 3 other forum members here paid me for 6 display keys and they will be delivered.
I'm on this forum for a while now and post a bit, I also purchased several items from well known members here, there was never a single issue.
Anyway, the whole idea behind the new setup is to demonstrate a successful key programming process.
I know this display key works on our cars, I use it regularly and I have videos to proof it!
If I was here to scam or troll around, I wouldn't waste my time posting and setting up a supply chain.

Once the first reputable forum members here confirm the functionality and quality of these display keys, we will talk again. I'm all in for establishing trust and a reputation. Thats how business works

Everybody is welcome to go on AliExpress or any other online store to find the cheapest display key. I actually purchased this key before and my locksmith at the time wasn't able to program it to my car. I bought a few more from different sellers and ended up with the one I'm offering here now.
Please review my videos on Instagram, the key you posted can only open/close/start the car, it's a fancy regular key with M logo and display, so a regular key in a display key shell. The key I offer and that's proven to work can do a lot more, since its display is reading live information from the car, like battery voltage, status of doors/windows/lights, etc.
I don't want to bash the product you posted here, but please don't just go by the price and don't inform yourself about the functionality and quality.
Posting the cheapest AliExpress display key is not helping anybody. Or did you purchase one and it's working on your car? Any videos?
