F10 MT Comp pkg
After searching for quite awhile I feel fortunate to have found a MT comp PKG with low miles, original paint, and no history of performance mods. Seems to be a no stories car.
Does anyone know how many of these were produced? That is, # F10 MT comp PKG cars? Or where I can find out? |

Congrats. There is a thread around here somewhere that breaks down a decent amount of info but I don't know if one of the stats were 6MT and CP. I know that 577 cars were built with a 6MT, so you can at least start with that number and work down from there.
From that thread I was able to determine my 2013 6MT is 1 of 2 built in Imperial Blue with Full Silverstone II interior |

Congrats! I searched over a year for a manual 2014-2016 and lucked out that the one I could finally afford al super late build 2015 also had CP.
I think the only reason I was able to score it was that it was a weird color exterior and interior. Frozen bronze metallic that doesn't look as good in pictures. I took a risk and drove 10 hours to see it and sealed the deal. Interior is nutmeg. All that is to say there's at least one other and during my search I saw one other that I couldn't afford . Post some pics! |

I am also in the bandwagon of trying to have had this shipped to North Carolina. I low key am jealous and despise the purchaser because I literally saw the ad get put up within minutes and tried to get ahold of someone on Sunday to buy this. Stupid California e-titles.
Congrats to the buyer. I think there are only a little over 100 of these if I read correctly. |

Here's my take on this car after driving it all of 60 miles. Everything I have read about the F10 chassis being big, bloated, floaty etc just does not hold water to me. It feels like my Bilstein B12 equipped E90 in terms of suspension compliance and ride, (just much more refined and controlled) and the steering is fantastic. Sport plus steering is perfect IMO for just about any car, and fits the nature of this M5 perfectly. I’m now curious about production numbers of this car...wonder what the color distribution is among each. If there are only 118 manual Competition packs in NA, these are extraordinarily rare.

I don't quite get the big and floaty description either, actually feel the car drives much smaller than 2+ tons reasonably should. I agree it feels pretty nimble, with great steering. One thing I've found interesting..... my buddy has a non-comp. PKG and he struggles with traction much more than I do, even though he's running 305s in the rear. Seems as if the differential and suspension tweaks with the comp PKG make a big difference, which I seem to remember some journalists pointing out sometime awhile back too.
