ED MARCH 2014 suggestions

Hello all,

ED for March last week. Worried about snow on roads so looking for suggestions, obviously heading south. M5.

Thinking to Bologna, Pisa, Amalfi, South of France and then back to Munich.
The route to and from Munich is my concern.

We have 10 days.

March can be tricky as there's still a reasonable chance of snow .
Most passes will still be closed at this time of the year.
However you'll be fine driving the Brenner Pass (main hwy to/from Italy/South Tyrol)
You can also use the route via the Felbertauerntunnel as Plan B
Once you're in Italy you should be fine.
If you plan on driving off the main highways you may want to consider winter tire rental and have them already put on upon pickup at the Welt (info is in the ED forum on Bimmerfest , http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=233930)
