Need advice: Terrible re-delivery experience
I just got my vehicle delivered stateside and had a horrible experience. None of the issues I mentioned during drop off were fixed (numerous chips and misaligned body panels) as well as a number of new rock chips all over the place.
The drop off condition report is in German so I'm not sure what it says, but the person assured me that all the items I mentioned were written down. I also sent an email with pictures to BMW euro delivery when I dropped off just in case. The SA was terrible when I picked it up, basically saying it was a 'used car' already and saying all they could do was call the BMW euro delivery department on Monday, but with no promises. The thing that really pisses me off is that he didn't apologize at all, and that before I went to pick it up I asked him to check on all these issues (2 weeks ago). He said it was good and fixed, when in fact nothing was addressed. In case anyone is curious, here was my original post describing the issues http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=858340 Does anyone have any advice or contact people that can help me address this? just read your thread, if I had to speculate it almost looks like they had to quickly re-spray the front bumper for some reason given the state of it and the way its been put together. in 15 years and about a dozen BMW M cars I've never seen anything like that. I would create a case with BMW NA customer service.

Do you happen to have any contact info (eg phone numbers)?
The thing that really turns me off is the attitude of the SA (pretty much a 'not my problem' one) and the fact that both him and BMW Euro Delivery assured me these items were taken care of when in fact nothing was done. I feel like I was lied to, and that's no way to treat a customer. |
