A10 is a very, very complex module and you'll need lots of time to get the systems right. No experience on the F-15, I am waiting for the Tornado module, which is coming some times into the future.

Wrapped up Dead Space remastered and currently playing Returnal. The stress is on par with souls games. Played a little Atomic Heart on the side, but just couldn't get into it.

Decided to try out Star Citizen. Its still in development but you can play what they have so far.
Minus the development bugs its freaking awesome. The level of detail in the ships and world is amazing.

brrsn0w I'll be playing TLOU Part 1 on my PC. I played the original on my PS3 in 2013, and the remaster in 2014 on the PS4 and PS4 Pro. Someone purchased it on the PS5, but I have an RTX 4090 and a nice PC so I'm going to play it in ultrawide (21:9 3440x1440) at 144 fps and toggle all the settings on for the best experience.
I've also played Returnal on PS5 and now again on PC and it's just as awesome as it was the first time around. I haven't beat Dead Space remake yet, but it looks so incredibly well done. I truly hope they remaster DS 2 and 3 (3 needs an overhaul on game mechanics and story). |

Bought American Truck Simulator a few weeks back when it was on sale. I had read a lot of good about it but questioned how good or fun driving a big truck around really could be...
My "training" job was near impossible to get out of the lot but I somehow managed. My first job I accepted ended up being 4 trailers long and somehow I didn't damage anything. Another job I almost rear ended a cop. It's surprisingly fun.

Just hooked up my PC to the TV and started playing Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War series. I had thought the resolution would be all wonky (TV's a 55" 4k), but zero issues so far, everything looks crisp and clean, and I seem to be working the keyboard/mouse combo perfectly fine on my recliner too. The game still holds its own with the graphics, voice acting and storyline...loving every bit of it all over again!

Quake 2 was 'remastered' and released on Steam/GOG. I've been playing that for quite a while. It's meant to be more true to the original, and some of the cut content (such as Berserker leap attacks) were added back in. As an added bonus, it has a new expansion pack, and it includes Quake 64 as well. Free for those who already own the OG, or $10 for everything.
I still prefer the updated look of Quake 2 RTX with brightness dialed down, but I'm running through the OG now. |

Just finished StarCraft 2; wow! Nothing like an old school RTS, fantastic gameplay, voice acting, cinematics and storyline. Ready for my Command & Conquer replay....Mammoth Tank reporting, bitc*es!!

We got our 11yr old son an X-Box. What are some good adult games. I haven't played a video game in over 10 years.

Been a busy couple of months. For the last several years I bought maybe 1-2 new games a year. But I've played Baldur's Gate 3, Armored Core 6, and Starfield.
Cranked a good 30+ hours into Starfield since last Friday and I've been really enjoying it. I've been hearing such varied opinions about the game. I think everyone should keep their expectations in check, at it's core IT'S A BETHESDA GAME. I've put hundreds of hours in Oblivion and Skyrim (None of the Fallouts have grabbed me) and it plays like those games. It still has some bugs and animation glitches (of which I find entertaining) and sure the performance isn't great (even with my rig it ranges from 70-120) but once it opens up and all the random stuff you can do sparks in your head I've had a hard time stopping.

After a couple months of playing Starfield I just got too bored, so I'm back to Elite Dangerous for a while.

I'm a big fan of star citizen but it's one of those games that you can't really enjoy unless you're playing with a group. Playing solo it gets boring fast. Not to mention between launching the game to sitting in my ship takes at least 30 minutes.

I did find the level of immersion almost too much. I didn't mind having to go to the hangar and recall my ship, but I don't care about needing to eat or drink every 10 minutes especially since I had to put the item in my hand and then remove my helmet and make me eat/drink it, nor do I want to have to throw my trash in the garbage can. The graphics and detail are insane tho. IF it ever gets finished it will be awesome. right now I'm waiting for SQ42 to officially come out.

Welp, after I stopped playing Starfield I played Elite Dangerous for a little bit, then I decided to fire up DCS and learn to fly the A10C II. After a week or so I got burnt out of trying to get controls set up in a way that worked for me.
I picked up Cyberpunk 2077 during the black friday Steam sale. I've read that when it comes to the story and side quests it's very well done, so I figured I'd give it a try. About 5 hours in and I think it's ok, but way too much dialog to click through. It's like every hour you play, you spend 30 minutes of that going through dialog, and often times you only get one choice anyways. I also feel like I was thrown into a story with no build up and I have no clue what is going on, but I'll keep giving it a chance.
