LOL, 9k is nothing for 899$ a month, for a fully loaded M5.

I wonder what the payments would be with 7 multiple security deposits instead of the 9K due at signing? Can anyone figure that out?

Just simple math with no tax etc.

1. $9k plus $900/month for 35 months ($31,500) equals $40,500

2. $3k drive off plus $1200/month for 35 months ($42k) equals $45k.

Just trying to help someone looking for a deal or at least use this ad to compare other deals. Good luck!

I dont know for sure so this involves some speculation using the numbers I see on my own contract which is similar to the posted deal. Assuming selling price is $90k with $102k MSRP and it gets totaled within the first few months with only 2k miles then I would assume insurance will pay FMV of appx $92-$94k. The $9k drive off is comprised of appx $6000 for cap cost reduction so total cap cost is $84k. You would then get the difference of the insurance money of $92k-$94k and the current payoff of $82k. Again these are assumptions on my part but the car is $13k off MSRP so you get that added value against instant depreciation with or without the accident.

Just for full disclosure I got my car brand new with msrp of appx $103k, gross cap cost of $87,388 less $6,400 for cap cost reduction ($8,750 drive off) so net cap cost for me is $80,964. So if I got into an accident and my car was totaled I think I would come out at minimum flat (return of my $8750) and at best with a a few thousand in addition to my drive off.

13000 off MSRP? That is ridiculously crazy. Was it a special or did you negotiate it down that much pochesq? You should have saved your down payment and it still would look good.

Actually my deal was about $15,500 off MSRP! It was through Center BMW as well back on May 9, 2013 when no one can touch that price!! The lease I posted above states the options of about $103k with a "$13,000 Center BMW discount" so that is $13k off MSRP! I don't know if it is still available or what the color combo is but if you are shopping around (as you indicate in your PM to me), then you should call Dana at Center BMW to explore options. By the way, I am in no way affiliated with Center BMW, but since Dana was so great to me I want to direct business to her! Cheers!
