Offered 85K for my M5
Looked at a heavily discounted 13 CLS63 with the PP the other day. It is a 118 car offered at 100K. My car has 4K miles and the MSRP was 111. My payoff is 92K. They offered me 85K. My question: Is this a fair offer for my car and if I waited a year or so will the gap between the market price and the payoff get smaller. I am in a lease since May. Thanks.

You also have to realize that the '14 CLS63 is coming with 4matic and has the S model available with 577hp. That will kill the resale value and plummet the depreciation even further of the '13 CLS63 PP. They need to move that '13 before it becomes more apparent that the '14s are a big improvement. |

In addition there is likely to be a CLS LCI for 15 and if the E Class LCI is anything to go by, then I would expect a significant improvement in the CLS LCI. There's also a possibility that it will get the new S Class nav.
I wouldn't touch a CLS until I see what the 15 model year brings. Right now the M5 is the better car.

my friend has cls63, i drove it many times and get inside more or less every day
except for the exhaust note, there is nothing special in this car... sat nav looks like windows 98 with 4 colours massage seats, supporting side bolsters and interior light colours which u can change are nice options to have, but would i change my beast for "grandpas car" ? no way |

Oh the travesty of such things....... but Im feeling you here The M5 is the better car than the CLS- I did the same thing about a year ago >>>>>>> dumped the CLS (which was tuned and faster) for the M5 which is the better drivers car and has better interior (2013 M5 vs 2012 CLS)
