Coding

Hello everyone. I've got a 2013 bmw m5, the head unit is not coming on, already checked all fuses and confirmed im getting power to the unit, so im going to go ahead and replace the unit. my question is how do i go about coding the new one? i've watched bimmerdoc's walkthroughs on how to use esys, but im not able to find what code is needed for the replacement head unit. apologies if im posting this in the incorrect thread.
