Depends on how it's tuned and subsequently maintained. I put over 20K miles in the 750-850whp levels and drove the car HARD.
Yeah it all depends on your car, tune, and fuel. I've always ran 93 octane. Even on cars that didnt require it. Put over 20k miles on it never had a problem. I felt the clutches start to slip so the car went in for clutches. Against their recommendation I told them to turn up the boost and drove it home where it failed just before I got home.

I had been preparing to pop the motor as I knew all this power was too good to be true.

Oh yeah - anything above stock needs min 93 octane. That is the #1 reason mildly modified setups break.
I was always under the impression that the octane levels were dependent on elevation. That it's the reason that some places (i.e., where I'm at) only offers up to 91 AKI. Kinda sucks if that's not the case.

What kind of octane booster would you recommend?

What offset change does the centre lock conversion provide? I assume it would allow me to buy Porsche centre lock wheels, ie 20x12 BBS FI-R's

Im not 100% sure but the centerlock conversion adds like 10mm. The specs i was given was +25 for the front and +28 in the rear. Im guessing that number was measured with the centerlock adapters attached to the back of the rim. I would contact forgeline about their centerlock adapter. I know they do make wheels for porsche centerlock. Wether they copied the specs to a tee i don't know.

That is interesting, the part that the 5 studs bolt into looks like about 6mm worth of spacer, but the wheel can't sit on that because the studs stick out proud of the spacer, so the wheel must sit on the centrelock part only at the end of the thread? That would make it about a 20mm spacer assuming they are still measuring the centrelock offset from the point that the rim face stops.

Lmao those bolts fit into holes behind the rim. They are pretty essential to putting the power down. So no its not like 20mm this is not new tech.

Ahh ok so the face of the wheel is offset by approximately 6-10mm then. That makes more sense and provides a much wider area for the wheel to sit on.

I dunno he clearly asked for boost lag? But if you want to know boost kicks in so fast and so hard that it feels like the padding in my seat is about to blow out. Even at 140+ miles an hour the car keeps pulling violently.

Whenever i daily drive it i can keep it out of boost if i keep it under 2500 rpms. If not the turbos start to spool hard and shit gets serious quick.

At wanna go fast we were having traction issues so we didnt use launch control. But with the 19" rears and drag radials we should see a little bit better results.

We should be back at wannagofast for Ocala FL for another attempt with a new set up under the hood
