Respectfully, a driver in a car that is barely a top 10 car (Lando's spot)... that gets a 10 second penalty (on lap 54) while in 10th.... and drives off and gets to 7th while gaining enough time to keep 7th by lap 71. .. that driver is not overrated. That is a top-rate drive. DR just needed to figure his head out late last year - which he didn't... so he's likely done for good. The incident was... not a good look for DR. Still, after 1st contact, Yuki turned again into the line instead of easing... he instinctively made it worse, and DR got the HUGE penalty that he deserved for it. He earned it, but it was given. Yuki could've stayed in the race. He reacted and tried to stay on line and that was that. Last edited by br438; 10-30-2022 at 05:39 PM.. |

Max not wanting to talk to Sky sports for comments made about last year could merit a similar comment from fanboys. Either take is ridiculous. |

such a boring race but not because of the track.. RB's pace is giving them a lots room to play.. half a second lap sometimes more is just too easy for Max and RB..
anyways.. well done to Max and RB for winning.. probably more to come as i ve said earlier.. i hope next season will be a bit different than this..

Just be prepared to watch more boring races , just like today, SPA and the rest of his 14 victories so far in this season . And he Isn't done yet ... As I said already years ago : Someone is coming to beat HAM badly, like he is never beated before ! This is only the beginning from the double F1 World Champion .. AKA : UnLeashTheLion !

When Mercedes was curb stomping the field, there was VER that at least made in somewhat interesting or maybe another team that just wins. Heck even Bottas made some races interesting. This year is not that. Not even close. It's either been RB or Ferrari and even then those were not close races. That's what's boring. Good for RB for winning. But the margin of victory and the ease of it is what most of us find boring not because Red Bull or VER won the race. Hats of to RB for nailing the new regulations while everyone faltered - that's not a knock on RB but the overall product/outcome is boring. |

Schumacher achieved 13 wins in 18 races (72.22%) at the age of 35 (2004). Verstappen achieved 14 wins in 20 races (70%) at the age of 25 (2022) in a season featuring still a 7-time WDC competing (currently 0% race wins). And that 2022 season includes two DNF with car issues (a DNF in P1 in Bahrain during lap 54/57 (cf. Mercedes-AMG: "You love to see it." tweet) and a DNF in P2 in Australia during lap 39/58). So, in principle, could have even been already 16 wins in 20 races (80%). If Verstappen also wins the Brasil and Abu Dhabi races, he'll achieve 16 wins in 22 races (72.73%). Furthermore, in 2022 there were "Sprint" races in Emilia Romagna (Italy) and Austria. Verstappen won both (100%). Last 'Sprint' race will be in Brasil. And AFAIK no "we will invert positions in this lap" team orders to team mate Perez to help Verstappen securing a 2022 race win. Question: if Hamilton is called the "Greatest Of All Time", then how do you call a 12-year younger driver who wins 16 times against him in the same season (14 races and 2 'Sprint' events), without express team orders to secure race wins, breaking the all-time record of most wins and highest # of WDC points (and the season ain't even over yet) ? Comparing a young gun (25) to more experienced old timers like Schumacher (35) and Hamilton (37) ? You're right: to be fair, let's check back in 2034 how Verstappen performed from 2021 to 2034. Dominating F1 in the forthcoming years: what do you reckon ? (source: here) |

It is not only RBR that are not speaking with Sky for their disrespectful suggestion to a RB driver VER but Ferrari refused to speak to Sky at the Dutch GP also Steiner and a few others have shown their displeasure with Sky who as we know hold the exclusive rights to F1 tv rights and as well as Kravitz has Sky's Brundle wolf like followings and hassling of celebs (like Brad Pitt lately) and others gotten out of control..HAM himself has chosen to ignore Brundle for the time being.
