My buddy just didn't show up at work today! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? Jailtime for speed
My buddy/friend/partner/car next of kin however you want it -
 The only one who knows more about cars than me (Role model) who had a couple of ///M cars in the past didn't show up at his work today and that he will come back in 3 days!! A respectable man indeed I've known for years!! I feel many of us (Don't want to say all) are no better than him! It is a shame this takes place only in the south it seems!? Guess what happened ? Really sad - Yes you are right - Jail time for probably reckless (Perceived) driving and speeding One of our scariest nightmares in a sports car just happened to him and it tears my heart and what can I say "Survivor's guilt" maybe but I feel it is not fair! He is close because of his passion for cars! Cars can be a source of happiness and misery at the same time! But we know this! Senna after all died in his car Paul Walker and Rodas too So even worse than jail could happen !! Hope they don't revoke his license or more jail time as he's not the type at all to endure all this without a scar - Had to share because I was burdened by this and you are the next of kin when it comes to cars' sad stories!! And now I feel the pain of the journalist who posted a similar story. Edited: Because I was accused of being sarcastic of my dear friend and I am not sure how on earth I came out to be perceived this way!!

Uhmmm, your "partner" had something unmentionable happen to him "in the south" and won't be back for three days???
What happened. Got lost somewhere in Alabama by a bunch of people trying to remake Deliverance? Seriously, if something bad happened to him why would you want us to guess?

I'm guessing he is in jail. However, I don't see any humor in what you are trying to do by not actually saying what is going on.

If you indeed feel sorry for him, why post comments, that in the context it's written in, sounds like sarcasm...?
Are you trying to say that he was caught speeding like that journalist, and is now spending three days in jail? If so, why not write that in a normal and respectful manner? |
