Water Pump
So my local BMW shop here in socal just told me that my water pump is leaking a little. the car has 86k miles.
They are charging me $1600 parts and labor to replace the water pump and thermostat.. does this seem fair? please advise,

I just paid about 1100 in Tampa, Fl after another indie told me nearly 2k. Parts prices are not the problem it is the labor. See if you can negotiate on the labor. If you have the free time you can do it for about 400 dollars +/-
