I'm seeing the same issue with my transmission: wondering if anyone has been able to successfully fix the issue?

Based off what Steve says that the shaving can be in the fluid sounds plausible... Could a good flush and filtering solve the issue?

One thought is why would this issue only occur when the vehicle is under heavy load? When driving moderately the issue DNE...

Any other potential methods to resolve the issue without doing a full blown tranny swap?
