It was idling rough and occasional stalling when engine’s cold (at cold start or soon after at auto-start/stop). HK climate never gets that cold. When engine’s warm it felt fine...until I pushed it once on a ramp and engine shut down mid highway followed by a rod knock.

Oh ok. Knock on wood (pun not intended ), I might be in the clear then as mine only does that on cold engine now that outside temperatures dropped close to 0°C. Once engine is warmed up all is good.
