Getting his cardio in I suppose.

I need to find a pic of one of the other cats we had that lived almost to 20 before passing. Solid black...and huge. If I can find it, I will post it up. He's in my daughter's lap beside the small dog we had that died at 19.

But it shows the scale in size!
I sent your pic to my Son.

Keep in mind...this wasn't the Maine Coon.

I need to find a good pic of him. Our Maine Coon is bigger than this cat! Lol

I'm searching for munchkins or Scottish kilts instead. A rather polarized choice😂

It's not mine, but I'd love to have one that looks like this, simply love how majestic they look. I heard this particular Maine coon is popular on social media because of its looks.
But I guess you won't know until they grow in full size right?
Hehehe some cardio is always good, even for our furry friends!

Ahhh its so difficult to find Scottish kilt/munchkins...breeders some how all located in east coast

You can find Maine Coon breeders probably a lot easier than the breed your looking for if you like them. The parents typically represent what the kittens will look like.

My daughter has a Norwegian forest cat. Oddly enough, the only breeder we found was on the east coast in NC. But we only lived a few hours from the place.

We also have Norwegian Elk Hounds. The two we have came from my BIL who breeds them.

Then we have the Mini-Schanauzer in the house.

Let me guess. The mini-Schanauzer rules the herd?

It's true....he herds the cat in the house. Patrols the dogs in the back yard through the windows.

It's hilarious to watch!

Yea lol the breed I'm looking for is somehow specialty breed. Been having a hard time locating one near me.
I'm not too fond of having the kitten or cat transported through plane, since that's what most offers shipping with companion.
But I rather have one that I absolutely love than one not as much.
I did locate one near driving distance just yesterday though, I'll have to see when the next litter comes in and I'll most likely share the pictures here if I successfully acquire one (:

Well I hope it works out for you!

Cats are wild. They have their own attitude and will hold grudges. Dogs are there with you no matter how bad you may screw up....even more so than your best friend!

Ahahahah I guess that also depends on one's lifestyle too. I think a cat fits my less active, like to chill routine...plus i think it's just painful for dogs if they don't have enough room to run around (don't love in a house) smh

It does. I'm glad that you're going to be giving an animal a home.

We are cats and dog people. And you are correct about dogs....they need room and company where a cat is fine in its own for awhile....and sometimes prefer it that way.

Luckily my wife was able to stop working at 40, and she has time to keep our animals company. She also gets to volunteer at animal shelters.

I'm glad I can finally do this too! should've done this long time ago but rather save myself and potential pet with the hassle of traveling internationally with tons of paperwork.
Woooo retired at 40! You must be a great provider 🤣
Can't imagine myself or wife retiring at 40...

Ace.

Czech line working shepherd. Same dog that military, police use.

Hes an animal. Hates people, extremely protective, very dominate.. but a cute cuddly teddy bear with his family.

This is the pet you want if you lived somewhere in the sticks, and wanted protection.

Your friend is doing it right!
Greyhounds are surprisingly gentle dogs, that make good family pets. Being pack dogs, they also do well with most other dogs. We see quite a few retired racers here.
It's fun to watch them run in our park, with the other breeds somehow thinking they can keep up, somehow...!

It's a struggle. Feel like every 2 months I have to take the dogs to the groomers. Hair grows so damn fast. And being where I'm located I try to get it relatively short since it's so hot down here. Groomers are expensive too, pain in my ass haha.
