Thats a nice car. Very easy to put miles on these cars, just freaking comfortable as a long cruiser. Especially with the B&O. Only missing is the CCB. I recommend it for a daily driver.

CCBs at 45k almost ensured the next owner will be footing the $12k bill for replacements in the upcoming 2 years. Be glad these used ones are steel rotors at these mileages

Or you just switch to a much more reasonably priced Brembo set when you need to replace the CCB's.

So after about a year of looking and 5-6 searches going on nationally, I located what I was looking for: '16 F10 w/ 6 spd manual transmission, dark int & ext. and comp package! The car hadn't yet been delivered to the CT dealer (from Florida). Had a buddy in CT drive the next day to test drive and grabbed it before it was even cleaned. CPO'ed but more miles (45k) than I'd like but love the thing. Had it shipped out to Los Angeles in early March right as quarantine hit so not too much driving but happy to have finally have it.

This was a replacement for my '13 Audi S4 that I've had since new (special ordered because I wanted a manual on that too) and given how little I drive, the Audi actually has less miles (42k) and is three years older. One thing I do note, the shifting in the Audi is actually smoother than the BMW. I think of the BMW shifting to be very traditional and what I've always loved and remembered about these cars. Will probably keep the S4 around for a while but a little bit of a waste to pay the insurance and not drive the thing. I may just put it up on BaT w/o a reserve and see what happens (black on black if anyone is interested!). As many told me here before, be patient and you'll find it!

(This was actually a late production '16, manufactured Sep'16 and and sold Dec'16)

Would also be interested to hear if anyone has a CPO F10 as well as what's covered on the existing (though I don't think it's transferable) warranty. The original goes through this year and the CPO is to the end of 2021. In Los Angeles, still under quarantine so I can't take it in/don't really need to but notice when stopped or very slow speeds and i turn the wheel I hear a squealing sound. Little hard to describe but not the sound of the tires. I want to have it checked out but never had a CPO'ed car and interested among this group. I'll check the forum as well but figured how responsive, someone here may know. Thanks all...and yes, I need to find a good independent mechanic in West LA.

Congrats on the car - looks great and no doubt pretty rare given the manual transmission and late build.

Little bit hard to tell in that photo, but is it Singapore Grey?

Congrats, good to see another 6spd F10 M5.

Just over a year ago I set out for a nationwide "hunt." My requirements fully loaded ZCP 6 spd (executive and driver-assist packages), low mileage, not black or white, and LCI (ideally '16)

I'd say I got lucky I started the search in Jan found the gem in March in Alexandria, VA (live in Chicago). I happened to be in London for work, I checked Autotrader in the evening, did a quick scan mentally filtering out the listings that were "manual" but really DCT, and a new listing popped up with no pics. I plugged the vin into BMW Vin Decoder and couldn't believe it - perfect match with a few extras like night vision. No Ceramic brakes but 14k miles! I called the dealer (BMW of Alexandria), a little nervous to put money down without even seeing pics, I faxed a few docs and put a hold on the car. Turns out BMW of Alexandria was really great to work with, they sent me pics, told me the car has just come in as a lease return. I booked my flight the next week and picked up the car. Singapore Grey and Sakhir Orange full leather interior.

Great spec Pri.M5 - I love the SG over red w/ full leather.

You mentioned fully loaded barring the CCB - does it have the RSE?

Beautiful car. Wish I could've found with that mileage too! Interested to hear if people share purchase prices (I have no problem doing so to allow people to see comps but don't want to do something that isn't kosher).

My approach was that I was I had a budget in mind and knew I wasn't going to be able to negotiate given such low volume (understand ~500 manuals came to the US between '13 and '16)

Do people really want the ceramic breaks? I say that only from a cost perspective. What's the cost to replace those? Understanding it's far more infrequent it's be interesting to hear from this who have them.

Ceramic brakes (MCCB): I am on my third F10 M5 and had many M cars before, the current one is the first with MCCB. I never really missed this option until I owned the M5 in Germany. My first SBM M5 was purchased in Atlanta and I drove it for a while in NC. Then I moved to Germany and bought a IBM M5. After a few spirited Autobahn runs, I bought a MCCB upgrade kit to increase braking performance. In the end I sold this M5 as well and ended up with a Frozen Blue M5, fully optioned. Regarding stopping power from high speeds, they are incredible. For daily use they might be overkill, but just the optics and virtually no brake dust are worth this option. I have 0 issues thus far, other than a light squeal after washing the car or extremely slow driving. The cost side can be scary however, a new CCB disc is around $4100-4400, pads are expensive as well. If a disc is chipped or worn out, you need a financial reserve to fix it, these discs cannot be refurbished. But on the other hand, they will last 150 - 200k miles, without race track use. Since I always have repair or toy money aside with M cars, I'm prepared 😅 if you are looking at a M5 with MCCB, please follow the BMW assessment guidelines, due to the high replacement cost. And pads will go out earlier, but they are a fraction of the disc cost. Any detailed questions about MCCB, just pm me, I'm here to help. One last thing: slowing down from almost 200 mph to 60 or less is a real experience with MCCB, brutal stopping power 👍🏻
