For M5 I-Drive connectivity I'm torn apart between iPhone 6 plus vs Note 4!

I got the 6+. Hooked up seemlessly with the car. No problem. The 6+ is the way to go. Bigger and better screen, fits in my pocket np. I email a lot so the 6+ is a better fit for me. Also, I'm finding it easy to handle and I'm reading a lot on it- books, NYT, WSJ etc.... all look sharp.

Saying the the Note4 is better by citing it's individual specs is like saying the Dodge Hellcat is better than an M5. The Hellcat, like the Note4, may have better specs on paper but its nowhere near the total package that is the M5. Ditto the Note4 compared to iPhone 6+.

I am also waiting for the note 4 and currently wrapping up my note 2 contract. side by side comparison the note 4 seems superior to the iPhone 6+. For the last 2 years everyone has been making fun of the size of the note, yet now the 6+ is larger than the note. I am a heavy phone user and switching batteries on the fly is critical to me.

Aside from BMW apps, there is not much else missing in comparison to Android OS devices. (just need to buy Harry's Lap Timer instead)

The other thing is that I think the Android phones are kind of econophones which are more popular among students, the IT guys, and people like that. I just did a scan down my text messages, to see who I communicate with is not on an iPhone. it turns out that almost everyone I text is on an iPhone. Literally I looked at a list of 48 people that I have messaged and only 1 is not on an iPhone.

Also you would be excluded from being able to FaceTime people. Nobody is going to download Skype or some other obscure one-off third party software just to video call you.

I stand corrected... agree that the article is dated; however still I believe the total memory (OS+Nav+...)is 40GB.

I love the slo mo on iPhone 6 as it is hilarious and the time lapse is nice too and I don't think that these are on any of the android phones yet !!

Good point about the Facetime and Messaging integration - those are very nice features. To counter your point about being an "econophone," there is a large variation in the quality of Android hardware. Some of them are crap, whereas others are on par with Apple quality. As I said previously, the software is user preference. Personally, I think iOS looks and behaves like something designed for a child.

I went Note3 over iPhone 5S... haven't been happier. (I have had the Note3 since the week it came out last year.)
Wife got the iPhone6 (non-Plus) and I played with it some. It wasn't enough to make me want it more than my Note3.
I would probably go Note4 given the option presented.

The audio quality on the Samsung Milk service when set to HQ (it is in one of the setting pages for the app) is very good on the M5.

Quite happy with the iPhone 6. Screen is bigger than my 5S and still have Apple's excellent ecosystem in terms of available apps. Connectivity works great with my car. I took out my iPod Classic and use my iPhone for music now as I recently discovered that the cover art is higher resolution when using the iPhone; looks much better on iDrive.
