E39 M5 was the car that got me hooked as well. Was lucky enough to own one for 3 years, and it met my every expectation.

That would be me. I saw the colour on an M6 from Jason's COTA write up even asked about it, didn't know the colour. I knew I was going to order a 2014 M5 and eventually decided on the San Marino Blue, was also nudged a bit by Unique's photo shoot.

Through Zion National Park, UT - which looks a lot like driving on Mars.
Cut the corner of AZ to get to Mesquite, NV.
To Moapa Valley, NV.
Through the Valley of Fire State Park.
To Vegas.
Up the Geiger Grade Road.
To Reno, where I saw the beginning of Hot August Nights - a HUGE classic car show that's on this weekend.
To Susanville, CA.
To Klamath Falls, OR.
To Eugene, OR.
To Portland, OR.
And Back to Seattle.

In 7 days, plus a couple in Vegas.
