I've had several setups and hear most of them. MSR is by far my favorite and most would agree when they hear my car. I have a prototype. @m6beast is who to talk to.
It's deep and aggressive outside while still maintaining interior comfort with very minimal to no drone. It's amazing! If you aren't looking to spend much then I would suggest the Turner or Fabspeed Muffler Delete. Sounds good but nothing compared to my current setup. This is my car with Turner muffler deletes and stock Downpipes and cold start active. Drones around 1800 but as long as you are in D3/Sport Plus it stays out of that range while cruising Here is Turner with Catless Downpipes and stock resonators. Loud as Fuck!! I had to delete cold start and drone was a mother fucker around 1800.. Neighbors and wife hated me. I loved it

I have hi-flow cat with Akrapovic and it sounds amazing. It has a more exotic tone to it with a mixture of turbo/intake noise. However, I felt disappointed with the Akra when I had the stock cats on. Prior to this setup, I had a full Meistershaft GTC exhaust with stock downpipes and that sounded awesome as well. It has more of an American Muscle type sound in comparison to the Akra. I think the Meistershaft GTC exhaust is a good option if you keep stock cats, but catless it is a little obnoxious and too raspy.

Everyone has their opinions.
What I would recommend is a system that you can control the valves in the back. That way you can close two valves when on the phone. I have a full system w/catless dps and when I close two valves I can barely hear anything. When its open it wakes people up in a very good European BMW way. Not obnoxious at all.

Akra in my opinion is the best sounding full exhaust for the f10. I have a full Switzer exhaust and it sounds just like an akra, no drone, not too loud, just perfect

Heard them all and thought the Akra almost sounded stock.
I have a 100 mile round trip commute everyday and the Meisterschaft GTC without downpipes was the perfect yin and yang exhaust for me. It is loud as hell with both valves open. Deep and throaty without being obnoxious with the valves closed.
