Mercedes debuts the brand new 2018 E63 AMG!

Looks good and really like the interior but I've never seen myself in a Mercedes for some reason. I can't explain it there have been iterations I've liked but never seriously considered buying one. :

For Canada, the ordering guide was released by MB Canada on Dec 6, 2016, but the price has not yet been released until mid Spring 2017.

I have just submitted my order this past weekend for the wagon with June production and delivery around early to mid Sep.

I hope BMW can work on the exhaust sound as well.

Stock BMW exhaust does not seem as exciting compared to AMG stock exhaust.

Prob not gonna happen cos they believe in their solution to the sound problem, which is that garbage Active Sound. Anyway, for an insulated car like the M5, sound coming out from the exhaust is not the most important thing for me. The reviews on the G30 5-series point to a much quieter car, which means u are not gonna hear much of the exhaust, however good it might sound.

Hopefully. Not sure about power but the weight should be definitely a big advantage... BTW I saw this picture on other thread about the structure of G30 5 Series... reminded me people believed it's supposed to be carbon core, the same as 7 series... There is no Carbon Core or other piece of CF.
I believe F90 M5 will have at least CF roof.

Not likely to be a big advantage in weight. I would be happy with a 200 lbs advantage. Their most profitable model and they skimp on technology. BMW is really cheap.

Well not really. My M6 with Full Merino Leather and that awesome alcantara / gray wood accent and trim beside EXE /Lighting package and 20" rims was not cheap at all. M4 has plastic dash but overall the leather sport seat and CF accent and CP make it nice and not cheap anyways

Deposit given now. Pricing should be available in around late April, I will have enough time to review my order (based on my budget) before the options are locked in around May.

I did this before as well for my F10 M5...placed my deposit in mid-2011 and waited for the pricing information to be released. They'd be silly not to take your money ($ now is better than $ later)...

How do you know it's bmws most profitable model? Did you mean the highest priced model?

I have wet dreams about this new AMG. Imagine what this beast would sound like with catless downpipes! I'm sold on buying a vehicle in this category but I have to wait on the new F90 to decide. It's still far away from a debut and again I'd have to wait maybe 2.5 years for the comp pack while the E63s is around the corner.

By then, e63 could be months to a year or so away from face lift version .. Imagine an e63 s "r" or "black series" 😄

The F90 is suppose to be north of 700hp while the E63 is like 603hp or something plus the F90 has push button RWD while the AMG has drift mode. IMO I'd hold out for the new M5.

I hope you are right about the power output but I just don't see this being true.

M5 700hp+ ? Can you provide reference link ?

I have only seen mentioning of around low 600hp for it while the next rs6/7 is targeted with 650hp at most. Even the new panny turbo s hybrid is projected just shy of 700hp

No this is not true information. BMW has not designed any new engine yet. The next M5/M6 are going to have the same S63 with different map to generate 600 HP. The same as 30 Jahre
