Are you positive he was supercharged?? It wasn't even a contest. I am shocked it was that much of a unbalanced race.

What mods do you have done on the M?

Yes. Check out shift s3ctor event and he is outlined there as well as on their FB page.
I have an exhaust, dp's, piggy back tune, air scoops, filters and a very heavy shoe. Check out the link in my signature with the video.

The key was the rolling race where power to weight is not as big a factor. Green's hp advantage is still huge along with the amazing DCT efficiency vs the auto slush box that sucks up horses with the Vette. Id like to hear the claimed hp on the dyno of the vette though and also its sweet spot hp numbers if possible.

He did 620whp and I was at 627 whp. He had a manual gear box. Very cool guy. Drove straight from WA state and ran the following morning.

Well I have a hard time seeing that race with those hp numbers, either you are too low or he is too high or the dynos are completely different (which Im sure that's the case). Because with his hp/weight ratio, the less than efficient manual tranny should not be the reason for the huge gap. Either way congrats on the win.

Exactly my thoughts.
I also think the go pro video makes it look worse that what it actually was.
To be honest I expected a completely different outcome.

I think vids in general dont show how close a race is- having been in quite a few personally; the actual race with the correct vision definitely places the car closer than it would appear in the video. You have a very fast car sir. Use it often and crush thy enemy. Id like to see you and Eric got at it again @xtyper

Kick his ass, Sea Bass! Lol!

And people will think a modded M4 will even come close to a modded M5. L.O.L.

Lol. Dude if the ecu is accessible, sky will be the limit, but seeing the trends we have an idea of what is to come.

haha...
And the law of physic says F13>F10>F06>F12>F82>F80>F83
So I doubt modded M3/M4 can keep up with even stock M5

Cheers for the link M6.

I read trough this thread, and the need to comment suddenly (never happened before, I assure you) appeared.

BMW makes a range of cars, to suit us all. The idiots will end up in the X formats (birth control, hey I get to say that, since I have those too), the wise in the 335's, the boy racers in the F8X ( nothing is as good as something the neighbor doesn't yet have), and the lot on this part of the forum wish they could pull off the boy racer still.

C7... I have commented on Corvettes in an other thread once. Now I just use the word used much by a friend of mine, lovely.

I will be slower than this lot since the F82 will be mine, but I damn well make up for it by coming up with an unique list of excuses. Driving is a joy, and the way to get the most of it is to make fun of the others, as we all know.
