You didn't ask me, but in my opinion I think one of the most stout or reliable cars you can get for big performance is the new Camaro ZL1 these days. Rock solid motor and transmission and stock clutch if you get the 8Spd Auto, but also the 6MT is good too. Engine is super easy to mod and cheap for power gains and even though it's a RWD setup only car, you can easily get a wheel setup for some hefty DR's in the back. You don't need to spend Dodge Demon money or F90 M5 money, to have some good 1/4 fun these days. Chevy is making some great cars these. Just wait until the mid-engine Corvette comes out too.

Watch as this stock ZL1 on factory tires runs a 10.9.

Nothing 5 years ago Dave, the car only came out in 2014 (I had one in March of 14) and the majority of those cars that have 10.3X's have stage 3 or 2 running. The F90 pulling that right away is very strong and impressive.

The best tune time RS7 is 10.5x with race gas I believe; Id have to check but dont care to.

10.6s are most of the times I'm seeing from 2014 lol

I also am not sold thats a real tune remember us back then and those eurocharged "tunes" lol

But as Vic said 10.3 is pretty damn awesome especially on stock tires, throw some NT05Rs with some good prep/ DA and probably be closing in on 10.0/10.2

And those were with legit tunes again until I see proof those ECUs are cracked I'll reserve judgement lol so like you said its a great time for the F90s especially with OEM tires

Yeah I just feel like if we'd seen a legit crack of the F90 tune wise we'd see a plethora of tuning options as we see with the F80/F10 where you had tons of people offering tunes lol

When its one shop says they have the tune I can't help but think its bs lol

He has full meth injection, Jb4 with back end flash, catless exhaust, eventuri intakes, CSF charge coolers, PS2, SSP DCT, R888r with extra set of MT and supersprint manifold I believe.

eh some worse than others lol

PDK anyone 100+ launches in a row on that video porsche did or GTR for instance doesn't start slipping stock clutches / stock issues till you get stupid aggressive going for 9.9s every tuner out there says around there is where you just have an unhappy trans with a fully stock trans.


E92 m3/ F10/ F80/ all to me have issues with power + launch because of how poorly designed the Launch control maps are. Same with the Rtronics on the Gallardo and R8.

They're just dated ways of launching cars, and manufactures have progressed in that area.

I've been following him on Facebook and other sites and I take back what I said. I think he's close to a 1000hp. Checking out his 1/2ml results and draggy test I would say he's close. That's comparing it to my car which is no slouch. Just my opinion.

Dunno what that "Boat" is that you are talking about but his vmax results speak for themselves. Also there is plenty of recent video on his Instagram and the odometer is working fine. No offence intended pal but do you just troll this forum to pick holes in people? You did the same to Pikey Motorsports
