Need a DIY to drop the front subframe.

So small back story. I purchased a 2013 M5 that came with a unique set of problems on the driver side, no worries I figured I have worked on my E39 540i enough this should be easy... I have replaced damn near every component intercooler, bent tensioner and my master cylinder. Now I'm replacing the driverside sensor wire harness and I have changed everything except the two knock sensors at the bottom of the block. I cant reach them with 11", 12" or 16" needle nose plyers. I even tried fabing a tool to reach them with no luck. I have searched the forums with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I saw a video on YouTube of somebody doing/had done this. Maybe you can track it down that way.
