More chance to drive without hindrance..
For 2017/'18 it's been reported that 97% of all speeding fines in UK on average were handed out just by speed cameras with some counties not issuing even one speeding summons at all from patrol coppers.
What this means is that you are far less likely to be pulled by a patrol car and all the more reason to have an effective radar detector to protect your licence giving advance warning of radar traps, important to us M drivers. |

I’m not surprised by this, I live next to a Traffic Police Hq see plenty around my area however when out and about you don’t see many traffic cars nowadays where as back in the 80/90s they were every where.

I got done by a camera van at a massive distance, while leaving a built up area in a brief 30 transition zone into a 70 zone. I checked back my camera footage and I reckon I was clocked about 2 seconds from the traffic lights, after that I saw a distant parked van and instinctively pulled right back.
I've been looking at the various types of detector on amazon but I couldn't find one with a good set of reviews for mobile cameras, any recommendations? Those massive range cameras allow them to park in very crafty spots. Not knocking speed enforcement, just don't fancy any points. |
