Radar Hardwire

Hello,
I recently got my 2014 M6 GC hardwired with a V1 and Laser jammers. Unfortunately they keep turning off while driving unless I coast or brake. I've taken it back to the shop a couple times but they said they were not sure what seems to be the problem. It seems some people have had similar issues but am not finding clear directions that I can maybe go back to my installer with. I am not 100% sure how it was hardwired to begin with as I had it all done at a local shop. Thanks in advance!

I would assume they are connected to the wrong fuse. I have hardwired jammers and built in radar. No issues.

I could do a search but I stumbled on this thread first. Where on the F10 did you hardwire for radar? I have a V1 I intend to hardwire to my 2013 M5. I like mounting it high on the windshield and just to the right of the mirror. I haven't confirmed this location will work well on the F10 like it does on the e39 so I'm open to a different suggestion. Usually there is good wiring in the headliner near the mirror.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the direct answer I was hoping for! I pick up the car on Friday and am driving it home Saturday. I'll have the V1 temporarily powered with the cig lighter adapter for that drive.

it is even simple to make the "tap" wire with a phone cord and two pins from a wire wrap socket. I have made on for my M6 GC with the V1 and it works like a dream. With no sunroof, there are no supplies other than to the mirror if you have the carbon fiber roof.

I wired my V1 and my Waylens using Add-A-Fuse. Used fuse #48 in the glove box. Been reliable for years. Power is on/off with ignition.

I just bought a 2015 M5 with an installed radar detection system. How do I shut it off or mute it??? I live in an urban area and It goes off all of the time. It is entirely frustrating. Please help!!
