Carbon MPerformance style exhaust tips installed

Ordered these replicas of the factory tips. Having held both side by side its crazy how much nicer the fake tips are compared to the Genuine ones at 10x the cost.

Super pleased with the fit and finish of these. The stock tips pull off and these clamp on.

These look great. Do you currently have the MPE and swapped the tips, or you bought these for your stock exhaust? Wasn't sure if stock tips meant those with the MPE or those with the regular or CP setup. Asking as I have the CP exhaust and this look would pair a lot better than the smaller black OEM tips.

I have the competition mufflers on the car now, and these tips are made to fit the stock/comp exhaust. The Genuine tips will only fit the MPE exhaust (Akrapovic) as far as I know.

+1 for the link. Would love to pair these up with my CP exhaust.

If you'd like a set contact Rechel at Kemir Carbon, rechel@kemircfrp.com

Ordering for a M5 with stock/comp mufflers should all be the same. Let her know you want "the same tips Jordan ordered" and she'll take care of the rest.

The tips are also available in a satin finish on the carbon and stainless tip. If its for something else just email her, they have so many variants to fit just about anything length and ID wise, and can even make something custom if they don't have an off the shelf that will work.

I paid $288 shipped for the set, they came DHL in about 4 days. Crazy quick.

Do you have competition package exhaust or do these work on all F10 M5's?

Stock or Comp muffler both have the same size outlets as far as I know, regardless they have these tips available in many sizes and can even custom size them.

OneExtra Happy to see someone else take advantage of these awesome tips for the money.

Do they make these for F90 as well or just F10?

I would like to put them too but I'm afraid that with time and hot temperatures can be ruined quickly

I have had an issue with one of the tips after 1 week.

The coating on the inside of the carbon has peeled away in places.

I spoke to Rechel who refused to replace and said to use a black marker pen to cover up the marks and that it was normal.

Disappointed at her response as she didn't want to acknowledge that there was a problem

Sorry to hear you had an issue with one of them, I just checked mine and save for the combustion byproduct layer from the downpipes as to be expected they are in like new condition still. I clean the chrome portion with 0000 steel wool and it comes out like new.

I'm surprised they won't replace it, most of my direct import experience is that they will bend over backwards to make you happy if you ask politely. Were you a dick?

Regardless, either replace it yourself or pop the rivets and pull the carbon sleeve off to reclear it or something.

No I wasn't a dick

It looks like it was a bit of overspray that came off so I used a black Sharpie and rubbed over the edge and it disappeared.

Been 100% ever since and so have the other three.

I would se them again and in hindsight maybe a little over reaction on my part, I guess as it was after a week I was concerned.

The M5 does produce some soot though, tend to wipe them once a week with a damp cloth and they are fine.
