Hrmmmm..MSR Style intake for under 100 bucks?

Just had a wild idea..

So owning a f10 550i and seeing how the members over there have gotten creative with intakes, I think I can adapt some of their ideas into making a "behind the grills" intake ala MSR style..

Using the RAMAIR method here (cutting the stock intake down) and adding plumbing to the front grills, and then adding the filters behind the grills via couplers.. I think it should work!

Currently at work now.. I bought an extra stock intake to play with and I bought all the random pieces for a custom intake that I still have from my 550i..

I will have a mock-up this week!
