Lightbulb First Melbourne Red F10 M5 (by BMW Individual) Shows at Qatar Motor Show

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hello Bimmer fanatics,

Just got back from the Qatar Motor Show after an invitation from my local BMW dealer to check out the M5. The car that was on stage was the Melbourne Red M5, it was the first time i knew that this color was available. Maybe its an Individual color you can order. However the Melbourne red didn't really look red to me, it was actually orange that's maybe from the lighting or something, the blue calipers didn't look good on the exterior color too. The trim is matte aluminum (part of the "Individual Exterior Line", a no cost option).

However about the car, A TRUE BEAST!! the bulkiness and curved lines on the car are amazing it looks totally different in real life. I'm telling you i can't wait till i get my hands on this machine, a truly stunning peace of work.

i was able to take a couple of shots from my phone so that it could be shared with all you people hope you enjoy them.

Regards;
Don Cantona

Love Melbourne Red

I was also not aware this was available.

Melbourne has a lot of depth and does have a tendency to take on the external lighting.

I think the shadow line would look better but the matte aluminum works. Too bad about the calipers. With it being only blue, it's going to ruin colors such as Melbourne Red. There definitely should've been options of colors for the calipers.

I agree on the blue brake calipers. The lighting of that showroom is 100% the reason the car looks more orange.

Nevertheless it still looks sexy,it should have had black interior to show the contrast.Regarding the callipers they can always be painted at the company in any colour preferred.Im still going with the MCB though! What i understood from the salesperson that this car will be going around to different countries for show after qatar. When was melbourne red ever an individual option? On the X6M melbourne red wasnt an individual option!

I know! Standard on E9X M3, E70/E71 X5M, and now a standard option on F30
