Mud Flaps
I am going to buy front and rear mud flaps for Autumn/Winter as I am sick of the car getting trashed.
We live in the country so I don't even get to the end of the lane before the car is splattered with mud and cow shit. Having a black car they wont show up as much but still don't look great, either way it will stop a lot of dirt and chips The standard 5 series mudflaps will fit Has anyone fitted them? How much difference do they make? |

There are versions from the Far East that are identical from what I can see (not that I've got them) they are about a third of the price for what Bm ones are though think you'd have to purchase the locking plugs separately.

Did the holes on your BMW ones match the rivets on the wing or did you need to drill new ones in the flaps

*Look on my pic on 'Random shot of day' for the front flap fit and turn the wheel on full lock for ease of fit. Last edited by M5Rick; 08-17-2019 at 07:50 AM.. |

Hey looking good, mine are slightly different I think sitting lower being for the standard 5 series which sit a mite lower overall but still a perfect glove fit. You'll be glad you have them where you live in the country there with the mud and dung on the roads you have already mentioned and as you say it's not worth taking them off.
