I believe there is a video on youtube on how to get these on. Essentially you have to remove front bumper, and remove headlights. Open them up and pull out the "board". Its the electronic computer board. Then insert into umnitza lights and plug them in. Harness is plug and play.

Connect both lights and then turn on car. Test them out. Then you need to code a couple things out. (Cornering faults and something else like active headlights)

Pretty much it.

LWR_AHL_TYP = ohne (removes adaptive feature)
FLC_AKTIV - to nicht aktiv (fixes cornering fault)

I have DCAN Cable, and NCS Expert (used it on my e60). Have never touched my f10 m5 with any software. Is it true I can use NCS Expert to do this? How do I know if the version OF NCS expert will work.

I am curious. Why did you switch to halogen lights?

Which bulbs did you switch? There is separate coding for each component. Most change in the opposite direction, but you will need to modify so correct voltage is supplied.

I will be tackling this and install the Headlights this weekend.
Will be coding out the codes as well.

Question: I have my car flash tuned with OFT. Will the coding be erased everytime I flash the car?

Hi,

Could you confirm where LWR_AHL_TYP is found please? Need to code out the Headlight vertical control arm failure after replacing the TMS module in a pre-LCI F10. I've successfully coded out the Adaptive Headlight Failure warning but not having any luck with the vertical arm as I can't locate it. This is what's showing in the FRM:

Thanks

Have you tried searching?

FDLs can move around in CAF so best to search for it.
