Haven’t really launched them very hard. I’ve never used my launch control only one time have I actually given it enough gas off the line for it to dump the clutch like a manual usually I always ease into it as to try and preserve the DCT as much as possible lol but earlier I was able to hook up in second getting on it where it would have just lit them up before but I did have a little heat into them by that point. How are those nittos are those in the same class as the cup 2’s

Just trying to understand more about when/why timing pull occurs - is this because of the downshift in this instance?

It most likely pulled timing because if he was WOT it needed to pull power for atleast a few milliseconds to down shift.

I’m not sure when the gear change is logged I.e once it’s happened or once the driver chooses a gear but it seems to happen after the log reports it but it could well be.

Edit: just read post shift knock can be due to the mechanical noise from the gearbox triggering a false knock event which I think is likely what’s happening here

I believe they've had the E30 ots maps available even before the update. Wouldn't recommend running those long term without a proper hpfp upgrade like the F90 pumps. As for your time, Im surprised that 93 octane makes such a bigger difference. In my M6 GC, which is 100 lbs heavier than the f10, I did 7.35 on ots 93. DPs only

Are you sure? I’ve looked multiple times and never saw these e30 maps.

Also, yes , the ACN map is very very slow lol. Hence why I’m trying to add e85 into the picture to get some more power with safe octane

Following up here....

For those on the BM3 stage 2 E30 tune; have you noticed a difference vs the 91/93 stage 2 tune?

And if you are on the E30 tune and decide to fill up with 91/93 fuel, do you need to revert back to the normal stage 2 tune?

Thanks!
