Added a 2018 M4

Daily drove my R8 for few months. It was cool at first but a bit too much so I added a new daily. I need a new house as I am out of garage/driveway space.

I believe the headlights and tail lights are different along with some packages changes.

Gave it to the wife I replaced it with the Spyder manual, 3.8L Carrera S motor and 2900 lbs. kinda done with the turbo stuff too much lag for me personally. By the two years on the dot ....6000 miles. Too much travel, and I drove the RS and Escalade more.

Well the ZCP does have a better sounding exhaust... not remarkably different but it is better than that tin can tingy sound of the non ZCP.

I bought a 17 M3 last year and sold it for the R8. It's definitely different than the M3. I actually like it better. M5 was completely different. I am probably going to get the new M5 when the comp pack comes out

I tuned mine with the Hex... it was a nice add on. Are you gonna mod yours?

I am probably going to tune it and an exhaust. I think hex tune is the way to go.

What do you think about the Mclaren 720S? It's 918 fast...

No its not that fast?? but its a beast... the 918 is hypercar territory where its best competition is the Laferrari and the P1. Pricing is of course completely different than the 720. Id be very wary of the 720 and the McLaren nameplate; it just never holds values with its commodity (relatively speaking) products.

Are you missing your 570?

Edit: are your competition wheels dark? Or is that just the pics?

720s is not far behind. According to MT 918 does 10.0 and 145 mph in the quarter, 720s is doing 10.2 and 143 (on street, not prepped track). Pretty impressive for 2wd.

I drove my old 570s recently (I sold it to my buddy) and it's an awesome car. The engine doesn't do much for me though. That's going to be the issue with the 720s also, I know they went to a 4.0 liter unit. I may drive it this weekend.

Yes, the wheels are dark. It's the new black wheel option.

To be honest with you, I have no issue with sound of KING (mine is ZCP) but I missed M6 a lot... I'm thinking about another M6 or waiting one more year for M8!

Will there be a new M6? Think the 8 will take ove rather 6 platform .....M6 sales were not so good will be curious where it lands. Yup here the ZCP is better, and back to my problem with M cars now you have to wait for thr upgraded backed it tune. I never tune my cars what I buy is what I drive. Good luck on your choice going forward. I have to see and touch the M5 in person. Thus far I'm happy as a lark with my RS and Spyder no incentive to let them go.

I cant remember the last M car I had where the exhaust really impressed me... 2 F10's, 1 F13, 1 F82.... probably back to the E92 is where I last had a great exhaust smile on my face from M (OEM). Of course my E63 M6 sang a song but thats 10 years ago. I didnt really care for my E46 either but I did enjoy my E39 M5's note.

I wonder how this F90 will be???

No there will be no M6 since looks like 6 is replaced with 8 and I have no idea why!!! I was talking about the F13 M6 ...
