I was hoping Lando could hold off Ham, but those soft tires. But I'm ecstatic with a Mclaren podium!

Max needs to set a fastest lap before race ends. Let's go Max!

Yep, always someone else's fault when he goes off

Massive stroke of luck with the red flag , and shocking that the Mercedes is so much faster the other cars are powerless to keep it behind. Really goes to show the difference and why they have won so many races

Brilliant drive by Norris, his talent did everything it could to bridge the gap between the cars

Agreed! He did the best he could, and on different tires he could have been p2. But the talent is undeniable. And he's a fun character to boot!

These young drivers and their development is fun to watch.

Lewis 'is' talking humble. I love that. At last

But a great drive for Lando AND Lewis after all.

One hell of a drive from Lewis. Funny that he made sure to get the fastest lap point to stay ahead.

6 overtakes last year in total, and 6 this year from just Lewis during his second half recovery drive.

Great race, Max deserved that one. Great drive.

Sir 7ewis looked down and out, but with massive luck and a great recovery drive, he is incredibly and surprisingly still leading the drivers championship.

Shaping up to be a great season. 👍👍

Huge performance by Lando today.

Lewis was definitely fortunate to get unlapped on the red flag.

Interesting DRS only seemed to be enabled after the restart? Unless I missed it before the red flag somehow.

such a sad race for Merc' but decent points still.. grats to RB they made a better job..

i couldnt stop smiling for Lando..
such a great race from this lad.. all those sim racings can be seen in his drive during battles and moments of pressure.. well done to McLaren.. such a special team that at least started to get result they deserve.. great move from Andreas Seidl leading team for Mercedes engines starting from 2 years ago..

Ferraris probably were happy to get these results.. i guess they beat their expectation already which is nice for them.. good job from Leclerc while Sainz is getting warmed up..

Perez's mistake cost him a lot but season just started.. im sure he ll get much better on Saturdays and Sundays..

it was long and intense race.. great!

Finishing 2nd, passing 7 cars after the restart and still leading the championship. Pretty damn well if I say.

And he still has more rain wins than VER has wins, period.

Great win by Max! Congrats to he and his followers. Only one mistake on the restart but it wasn't critical.

Lewis had a critical error with RUS but used his experience, intelligence and knowledge of the rules to back the car into a safe place and rejoin the race. Had he passed RUS safely, we would have gotten a cracker of a finish.

NOR was sublime. He is really shaping up to be a great driver.

Ah well...on to the next race!!

He simply doesn't have the results in the rain that people say he does. This is his 3rd good result and first real win in a rain affected race. He's had plenty of crashes which caused DNFs in rain races.

He is average in the rain. The record says so...not emotions.

I should hope so, since he's had a car that is light years better than everyone else on the grid.

Today says otherwise.

Did you see Lewis struggling? lol

Lewis is the 'luckiest' man in F1 since years. Today with the Red Flag....

Though I never was a real fan of Nico Rosberg, Rosberg showed what happens when you're the 'first' driver and 'Master of the UniFIAerse' now is Lewis.

But anyway.

B. Is the ONLY correct statement you made!!!! I didn't quote your entire absurd post as it doesn't deserve any additional life.

Imola for example, only scHAM could crash and throw his race down the toilet. Only to be saved by a perfectly timed red flag which resulted in:
1. Free car repair
2. Free un-lapping
3. Gifted 2nd place

I'm 55 years old, retired and have been a F1 fan since 1985. My prior police profession has nothing to do with anything! I treated EVERONE equally then as I do now!

I've stated many reasons I don't like scHAM. NONE of them have ANYTHING to do with race!

So, you be better!!! Stop being overly sensitive to criticism of your driver. Also stop with the false assumptions and insinuations. You don't know me!!!

As far as Sir Hamilton, Sir Elton or Sir anybody goes I don't care who the Queen calls Sir. I only mention Elton John because I actually like him!

I'm an American. The royals mean absolutely nothing to me!

That was a fun race.
Verstappen drove a good race...to be fair I was expecting him to throw it off the track at some time during the race but the Red Bull has so much downforce and grip.
Hamiltons recovery drive was pretty impressive...smart also to use the DRS advantage he had from passing Lando to get fastest lap.
Good to see the Macs and the Ferrari in the mix.
Bodes well for the rest of the season.

Notice how it’s always the Lewis haters with the excuses for his wins & recovery drives? And excuses for Max or whoever they support when they lose?

We Lewis fans will continue to bask in our glory until any other driver wins 7 titles, 99 poles and, 96 wins.

Sir, I appreciate you for always being factual and fair but I think you forgot about this one:

Anyway, great race. The future is looking bright with Max, Charles, Lando, George.
Plus we can still enjoy the mastery of Seb, Kimi, Fernando and GOAT Lewis.
