I am glad Max is ok and no one was hurt. But honestly, people forget how ruthless great drivers like Schumacher and Senna were. I have always admired these two champions but the fans complaining about unfair tactics don't remember the old battles.

Now Helmut Marko is calling for Hamilton to have a one race ban. Unreal.

Any other corner it’s racing. That corner is dangerous, like Eau Rouge. You are tempting fate sticking up the inside.

It was bound to happen. British drivers pushing the limits to perform well at Silverstone. If Russell received a grid penalty, 10 secs seems consistent.

Hammy is a multi WDC, he knows this track like the back of his hand. Hard to argue that he didn’t know that this would happen. Either His move had two outcomes: Max yields the position or goes to visit the wall.

I do not think anyone that feels Ham is at fault here is forgetting what other drivers have done in the past - they just see someone causing a collision that sent another competitor into the wall at 180mph. Just because former drivers were ruthless doesn't make it ok to do what he did.

Neither VER nor HAM would lift to avoid the collision.

VER thought he cleared HAM's car or VER thought HAM would lift....racing indident.

It wasn't just a case of Hamilton not lifting. VER gave HAM the room inside even though HAM was very late diving in. HAM had the room inside to avoid the collision and could have taken it but chose not to - he went wide and into VER. Not a racing incident.
