I'm awaiting license plates, the car is in the garage and I'll wash it again and post more informative pictures tomorrow interior and color from different angles to help potential buyers know how it really looks.

I have heard the V10 in person but not the V 8 TT.. Not a fan of the styling or the engine. the V10 was exotic and had a F1 sound to it and thats why I will always love it.

I have heard a million sound clips of the F10.. The performance is insane but sometimes its more than that to make a truly great car.

So you're comparing having heard one car in person to another car's YouTube videos? And you're not a fan of an engine you've neither tried out or heard in person?

These guys just told you that the new m5's exhaust much more impressive in person than videos. And that's coming from someone who owned an e60 and now f10. No disrespect but I'll go with his assessment over yours until I hear it for myself in person

As just stated, you really do need to hear it in person. The video's don't do it justice. It is like with the colours. If you think his Alpine White looks great in the pics, you should see it in person. The paint pallets they are using for the F10 is spectacular, and they look great in pics, they look amazing in person.

All in all, you can watch all the clips you want; one really should get behind the wheel before writing off a car as not truly great. IMO, this car is GREAT!

Congrats on the car!

I also have an Alpine White on order, can't wait. Looks great.

The only difference is i ordered it with Silverstone interior, I really like the Silverstone but now im worried it might not work with the Alpine exterior, White/Red is classic but i couldn't bring myself to order the red interior. Any suggestions on Alpine White/Silverstone?

Waiting on those pics!

Personally, not sure how I feel about white on white car but I have never seen it on an F10 but IMO black or Sakir would work better but what ever floats your boat.

Here is an E60 M5 with that combo

Having seen pics of the M5 now from almost all angles, I'm convinced that the design on this M5 is timeless - understated, yet subtly aggressive. In that way it reminds me of the e39 M5. Both beautiful cars.

Absolutely beautiful car and review - thank you for sharing. Its definite a special car that not only can be lived with everyday but can lay power down like no other. Really enjoyed reading all your comments, can't wait to order mine!

Some of pictures of the interior would be amazing if you have a chance. i keep going back and forth between AW (Orange) and SS (Black).

Posted interior pics, sorry for the bad quality it was taken with a phone but you can still see the color of Sakhir Orange, full leather and combination with Alpine White.

Very nice write up and beautiful car. At first I didn't like the look of the Shakir Orange interiors, but after seeing it on a number of different exterior colors it really does look excellent.

I think my next M car will be alpine white though, it is such a great color because it accentuates the darker recesses on the car, especially at the bonnet and intakes.

Question Sounds better than E60!?!?!?!?!

When he was at 200 meter distance I heard a growl (no he wasn't flooring it, he was accelerating like on a minor takeover) at about 500 meters he stopped, put on neutral and pushed to 3000 RPM and I heard a massive low-bass sound. E60/E63's expensive aftermarket exhausts did little to correct the raw engine noise which was sometimes unpleasant and from a driver's perspective it made almost no difference, the unique thing about E60/E63 exhaust was the V10's "howling" sound that other people hear when you pass by. E60 was "howling", F10 is "growling". The bass is massive and the driver, passengers and public outside hears this from very far away. The sound is beautiful and sounds better than any other BMW because it sounds like music to a driver's ears. Powerful, loud and bassy. No YouTube video will capture the bass, live and YouTube are completely different things.
I love your car. You have the same colors I'd take it... BUT
You think the F10 sounds better than this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=QAlnEtGJcA8
