I really like it and can't believe I didn't switch to something like this sooner. It's so much more compact and comfortable to use than what I'm used to and seems really well made. Washing, rinsing, swapping out nozzles and cannons... everything is so much easier now.

I don't have any pictures yet, but I just came home from the Apple store with a launch day M2 Macbook Air that I had no intentions to buy. My beloved Macbook Pro broke another screen, and the repair costs were almost a wash compared to the new Air and all of the promotional and other discounts that I get from Apple on new purchases.....

How old was your MacBook? Mine is from 2014 and still going strong. Hope it lasts me for a few more years. They are so pricey but I love it anyway and will probably buy another when this one goes.

Grabbed it during the Ryobi days deals, mostly because I already have other 40v tools from them. Enough juice to do my yard and have 3/4 of the second battery left. I can literally hear my phone notifications while mowing the lawn. Comes with headlights so maybe I'll do it at 10PM one night

Anyone in the market for an almost new Honda lawnmower?

It's a sore subject!

I custom-ordered an uber-loaded 10" Macbook Air in 2013, and loved it. It did everything that I needed it to do, and is still working until this day.

I was down south for the holidays in 2017, and my baby sister's ancient (pre-Intel) Macbook broke. She was taking online classes at the time, so I gifted her my beloved 10" Macbook Air and bought a new 2017 13" Macbook Pro when I got home.

Just as COVIDgeddon hit, the 13" computer developed the butterfly keyboard bounce and was frustrating to use. With the factories being shut down and supplies of any computer whatsoever being crushed by WFH and school remote learning purchases, the only computer that I could get my hands on was a maxed-out 16" Macbook Pro since the price excluded most buyers. Gotta love 8 cores of Intel i9 CPU goodness! My plan was to ship out the 13" computer for an extended warranty keyboard fix and then sell it, but COVID lockdown made me miss the warranty window so now I'm stuck with it.

TL;DR - There is a design defect in the 16" MBP display (and possibly other sizes), and they develop a small crack that expands over the course of a few days until the display completely stops functioning. The first screen was changed under warranty. This one will cost $708...exactly the same price to the penny as an Apple reject display from the assembly line on Amazon. Apple's repair turnaround is at least a week, and they cannot guarantee that the storage won't be wiped (and I can't check the NAS Time Machine backup's last date to take that risk).

QED, a new launch day M2 Macbook Air followed me home yesterday so that I can keep working for a pay check.....

I've seen that and almost bought it for Tilly but knew it would last about 10 minutes as most of her toys do... The only toy that has lasted longer than a week is this funny yellow toy I got from Orvis before we even got her, so almost 4 years now.

It’s actually not a great toy - rubber or plastic and kind of heavy.

Ginger destroyed all of Winston’s toys. I had to start getting her these, which last pretty well, although she has destroyed some of these too after a while:

Haha, neither of my cavilers were big chewers. Tilly however is not allowed to have anything fluffy like that. She’ll destroy her Chuck it balls if we let her.
