I paid $1895 for mine when they first released the newest version (delrin bushing vs solid) last year. The competition being RK is on "sale" currently for $1399 but after researching and talking to people GAW design is much better in my opinion for the money.

I did mine in my garage with a jack. Took about 2 hrs total. Pretty easy but need a torque wrench to torque the bolts properly. I don't launch much either but after seeing the failures online and the damage it can cause I did it more or less for added insurance. Most stock brackets when they break take out axles, driveshaft and sometimes even the diff itself.

No, you do not need it if you are not racing from A dig or Launching the car. Personally, this piece will sell like hotcakes if it was priced at $1000 or 1100 but 1350 I don’t see any bargain Especially for a group buy.

To each their own. I just posted it since it's a deal and people ask me where I got mine. I'd gladly pay $1895 again vs if the stock one fails it takes out both axles and driveshaft. Which would end up costing you more. I like my peace of mind.

It is not NECESSARY IF your car is not a High POWER Vehicle and Racing from a DIG or Launching. If the latter scenario applied then this apparatus would certainly be applicable. However, the price is certainly costly for a Group Buy.

I bought one as my friend broke his on stock power level. He was launching but still possible even at stock power levels.
$1895 vs $1350 for a GB that's more then fair in my eyes and quite a discount.

Its necessary if you plan on running high hp and tq. Yes it may be pricey. But it's awfully expensive to replace a rear diff, drive shaft, and axles if your rear you factory rear diff breaks and causes damage. I've seen the factory rear diff brace break on cars with stage 2 tunes…

The convo in here is silly af

The GAW units are expensive to start - but the group buy is a nice discount.

I have the RK unit - which I got for $1100 new from them on sale - and it’s perfect. I pressed the stock bushing and then filled it with polyurethane. Quiet and problem free.

Preventive mods aren’t fun - but they’re necessary.

Like 707 said - It seems expensive until you break one and have to replace two axles and a driveshaft.

If I didn’t already have one - I would get in on this group buy!

Awesome score! I went with GAW unit as I've heard the stock bushing can fail and you can not order it separate. But good idea on filling it with poly! I got the GAW delrin bushing version and it's only slightly louder then stock. But once I get my exhaust I'm sure I'll probably never hear it. You are right though it's a small price to pay vs paying for 2 axles, driveshaft and another bracket when the stock one fails
