Here it is. For the M5 you need the manual transmission version since we don't have the transmission trim plate that F10 non-M models have.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

If you get it please post pics.

I have the kit installed in mine and you can find a few pictures at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jmh-pic...th/8301569338/
If you want any specific pictures let me know and I'll make them available .
Oh actually both kits work (automatic and/or manual) as there'll never be a CF trim
for the middle console. In the end probably better as the leather console looks quite good.

Yes I recommended the manual version because it's $230 less expensive than the automatic one.

Thanks for the pics. How is the trim holding up in terms of scratch resistance? Also is it deep black and glossy - bit hard to tell from this pic.

Hmm at least in Germany I got almost 400 Euro off for either kit due to the fact I won't be using the middle console. Wonder if the dealers stateside get the same incentive if they ask BMW NA

Not a big fan of the CF leather. It looks neither like leather not like CF.

I'd love to have gloss MCB alligator skin trim.

Having had both, I would say that Piano Black is much nicer than CF! Just my opinion!

Installation is very easy. Shouldn't take longer than an hour
All trim pieces are simple clip on.

One Other question.... Why isn't this available as an option from the factory? Is it in Europe?

It is marketing. BMW wants to sell the M accessories.

That's fine... But why not offer it at the time of order for an extra $1200 or whatever... Or even as a dealer installed option?

Is this package brand new?

Yeah, same. I had the CF leather in my X5M and I loved it. I am not a fan of the glossy coating on the CF trim. But I will get it anyways. I canceled my piano trim knowing that I was going with CF as soon as there was an option. I have told my dealer twice now to order the CF M Performance trim, but they keep on forgetting. Oh well...
