The car was kinda in that situation. Green with a manual. 1 month in the dealer nobody wanted. Ugly duckling.

Heres some reviews.

How did you find your Manual F10?

This wait is killing me. Pickup was delayed due to mechanical problems of the truck.

Awesome car, definitely a unique ride and nice to see a real color that isn't a wrap! Maybe your license plate should be GRN LNTN

Delivered as promised. Its good that it was yet to rain when the truck arrived. Was able to grab some pics.

I was actually very impressed with the color. It is not as light but darker green. I love it even more. My son changed his mind when the car arrived, initially he did not like it in the pics but it is a beautiful car.

The green and black rims made it a very unique car.

Will include pics of the whole gang tomorrow. The M5 will definitely be used as a DD and the TT be my backup special. I just wished the weather soon be clear. It will rain the whole week.

Since I am on a long vacation from work, cant seem to put miles on it. So I had a long weekend drive, 900 miles to be exact. Left with 100 miles and came back with 1000 miles. Cant believe I had that miles to cover. I guess, I will have to bring it in for a breakin oil change soon.
But I am so impressed about this car. I left with some doubts about the car, came back much more excited. Sitting position is better than my E60 M5, engine is torqueir, those CCB will stop you believe me, HUD view is better. I mean everything is better. I still would have liked to leave my E60 if I hadnt traded it in for my 991 GT3 but I am glad I found this one. And the Grun color, what a color.

I plan to keep the ASD attached as running acceleration was enticing. Not to loud but still acceptable.

And I forgot about the B&O sound system. Thats whats deficient in my M5, the Harman Kardon did not really satisfy me. yes the V10 would be a substitute but I like listening to Itune. But this B&O, I would order it anytime I get a chance.

I am glad I placed a clear on the front, it was really worth it for this long trip. It paid for it self for making me have more piece of mind.

Thank you sir.

Its been a year now since Ive gotten her and she still amazes me and surprises me. She would be part of my garage queens later, but now, she brings me to work when the sun is out.

How is your experience with 6MT on this car?
I had 7DCT on my M6 and now I have 6MT on M4. Both amazing gear boxes but I wonder if on a heavy car like M5/M6 the MT has the same fun of lighter one especially when you have experience with all of the MT cars.
Do you have any struggle launching this torque monster or upshifting at red line?

I think its a mistake to look at the F10 M5 as being big and most likely it would drive like a big car.
Even on a MT, this car loves to be driven fast and high rev lines.
Somebody said this is an AUTOBAHN killer and its true. In fact, you will not enjoy this car driving it slow.

When you drive this, its tight inside and steering it is like steering a small car.
Of course, when you park it to an M4, it may look big.
Put it in sport, comfort and sport, perfect.

Easier to launch it, press gas to 5-6k rpm, then release the clutch.

Im sure driving a DCT would be easier but I am having fun everytime Im driving it.

If you plan on selling the 16 green 6mt, you have a buyer right here. Looking to jump into one soon.

First time I've seen that '13 Car and Driver review of the M5 f10,some of our staid motoring journalists could learn something from the content.'0-60 in 3.7 secs on a quiet Spanish street with no people just a few ducks' does it for me.

Ived thought long and hard about selling it or trading it but I cant think off any other car to replace it.
If it was not ordered the way it is, i would have returned it as it was a lease but i exercised the buy out. It feels and looks like a bnew car.

I kept this since this is rocket that can fit 5 people. Besides being a manual and all other options.

Nothing else compares to it. Its not the fastest but faster than most cars out there.

Ill let you know if i ever decide to sell it.

Please do, I need a cool daily and this is it! I plan on selling the viper to get an M5 and this color is just ridiculously cool. I want to try and get one within the next few months when I sell the car.

I dont think this car would be in the market anytime soon. But I am sure there would be other m5 manuals arriving in the used market since its lease turn over time.

Good luck in your search.
