You need to use car for its intended purpose. I work about 50 miles one way all highway miles. And I loved it so much, I was using it almost daily instead of 2-3/a week only.
I racked up 12k miles before a year and I cant wait to drive to and from work.
I also use it on long drives and I have 3 car seats in the back.

I dont think I would enjoy this car in a stop and go traffic since mine is a manual. And even a DCT in traffic, how can you enjoy this beast.

But you need to give it a break in a week so that everytime you drive it, it will feel special.

Thats the thing about using any car daily, you loose the "Specialness" of any car.

My F10 M5 so far is great (touch wood). With the caveat that it is burning oil at an alarming rate for most cars. 1qt per 1K miles, I know BMW states it as "within tolerance".[/QUOTE]

Mine doesnt burn oil and I drive it highway all the time in scorching Texas Heat.

Given your garage, it's hard to believe the M5 feels special! I also DD mine to work everyday and drive our minivan with the family on the weekends, so it makes my daily commute wicked fun

I love everything about this car. And with the B&O, its a place i can sit for hours. No car is perfect including an M5, but its close.
